Money: Is that all we ever think about?

Well, it is that time again my friends. Yep, you thought right. Its tax season. That time of the year where you run down your whole year, trying to figure out where you spent all your money and what it was on. That time when you tell yourself why did I spend so much, why did I buy that. That time of the year where you barely sleep wondering if you managed to remembed and find all the necessary information that you need in order to complete the paper work on time. Man, it comes to be a nail biting, hair ripping expereince and it seems that as every year it passes, we think more and more about how we can squeeze money out of places that dont have the funding.

Money. Everytime I hear that word, it comes back to me as a burden and a curse. I say that because EVERY THING costs money. I mean look at it. Can you come up with something that does not cost money??? Other than air??? That is what this world is, how much money do you have and what are you spending it on. Its always looking at "burning" that hole in your pocket if you do not spend it right? Is that what we are doing now? Coming up with lame excuses as why we cannot buy our family food, or necessities, but we can go down to the bar and spend tons of money on beer and other beverages. Sadly our world is falling deeper and deeper in the ablis also known as debt.

Being a college student, I know what it is like to always think about money and debt. I mean lets face it, college is not exactly cheap. And most of us, do not have the pleausre of having our education handed to us on a silver platter with evertything there ready to go, for that is not how the world works. The reality sets in when you apply for your loans, looking at the interest that you must pay after school is completed and just picturing yourself in debt for years, and this is the reality for some people. Or the case of noticing that you can barely take care of yourself because of the fact that you have nothing to support yourself with. You cannot buy food or gas because you have nothing. It drives a lot of people into madness. Why do we do that to ourselves. We should know the difference between a necessitiy and a want, does that never the less always mean that we really know the difference? No it does not.

As you are finishing up your taxes this year, it only seems like a legit time to stop and think about where your money is going. As much as we hate to admit it, money is a part of life that we just cannot get rid of. There is an old phrase that I have heard a lot of times. It goes like this. There are only three things that you have to worry about in life. Those are eating, dying, and PAYING TAXES. Money is involved in our every day lives. Do not let it consume you.
