I know for a fact that if anyone has ever gone to a fine art or theater performance that the first thing that is said before the show starts that someone mentions to shut off all cellular devices... Anyone remember? Here is a US news review of someone who forgot to turn off their cell phone, and what was worse was that it stopped the symphony from performing because he apparently was sitting really close to them. Woops. So if you want to text during the show, put it on vibrate, and do not sit so close to the action!!!
